Hot girls and Marketing: Now with 100% more pictures…

It's related to marketing... I swear
You did not click on this link to learn about marketing. Let’s just be honest. But, since you’re here, how ’bout we have a little chat.
Before we start, I want you to watch this short video advertising women’s underwear. Make sure you come back, there will be more pictures later in the post.
Now, pop quiz: What brand of underwear do the advertisers who made that commercial hope you buy next time you’re at the store?
I don’t know how this whole “sex is great marketing” thing came to be. Okay, so you need to sell a woman on choosing your brand of bra over another. You know what she’d probably appreciate? Watching a dozen or so half-naked women who look better than she does ride a roller-coaster…
How many companies have actually successfully used blatant half-naked models to sell their products? Well, it depends. Victoria’s Secret and Axe have done very well with sexually-charged marketing. But it’s in cases like this, where the commercial is just pure sensory overload, that the product gets washed away.
How can you focus on a product when you hear screaming girls and watch bouncing, umm… well you get the point all going around on a high-speed roller-coaster?

- This ad firm also makes car commercials…

The whole idea of marketing underwear by showing it on extremely good looking people who are of the same gender as the target market reminds me of this campaign that took the opposite direction — http://sminsider.com/top-creative-ads-banned-advertising-mens-underwear/
I can’t help but wonder how many men buy underwear for their counterparts and how often they do that. Commercial like this one could be really effective in targeting men who buy lingerie for women. However, I cannot imagine it is a big market, as many men may find shopping for woman’s underwear somewhat difficult.
